330 ml can in cardboard box, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 12.5%. Pitch black colour, minimal brown head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate, vanilla, creme brulee and whiskey. Moderate but sufficient carbonation in the glass. The flavour is sweet, but not as extreme as I feared. Same elements as the aroma, also noticeable oak and moderate bittering hops.

Can. Oily, black and headless. Alcohol, booze, dark chocolate, roasted malts and some coffee in the aroma. Full body, warming, sweet and softly carbonated. Quite intense flavor too, perhaps a bit too much boozyness. Nice anyway. 250215

Can 330ml @ gunnfryd. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, oak, brown sugar, vanilla and caramel. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate, roasted malt, oak, brown sugar and vanilla finish. Body ís full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

KYKEGG. Black color with no head. Aroma and flavor is alcohol, chocolate, roasted malt, coffee,brown suga, vanilla, caramel, oak. Nice.

Can @ home. Pich black body under a minimalistic, fast disappearing head. Aroma of smooth roasted dark malt, dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla and smooth whisky. Taste is sweet, dark malt, gentle roast, dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla, some tonka, warming alcohol and smooth Bourbon. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. A nice pastry that’s not too sweet and still leaves rom for tasting the basic beer behind. Well made.

Svart, lite brunleg skum. Aroma av kaffi, karamell, vanilje. Smak av kaffi, karamell, créme brulée. Søtleg, men god bitter ettersmak. Lite hint av tonka bønner trekkjer litt ned

Nice brown bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head, deep dark syrupy pour. Aroma is slightly dry roasted, dark malts, toast, cocoa, rye bread, oak, vanilla, tobacco, burnt caramel, dark sugar, soil, nuts. Taste is slightly harsh sour-ish roasted, soil, cocoa, bark, bourbon, oak, toast, cough syrup, old rope, dark malts, tobacco, dark sugar, vanilla, salty licorice, booze, burnt rye bread. Medium to longlasting bitterness, sweet sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Not really my cup of coffee.
