19/7/2024. Cask at the 2024 Chelmsford Summer Beer & Cider Festival. As Born Blonde. Pours clear bright golden orange with a bubbly white head. Aroma is malty, citrus, flowery. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Quite thin but it’s okay.

Half-pint, cask ale as Born Blonde 3.8 % abv, shared with Finn at Tyne Bar. Dark golden body, remaining white head, good lacing. Soft malt-fruity nose. Flavoured with dusty hops and doughy malts. Mid-sweet fruity ending. Easy going. (Newcastle upon Tyne, 18.03.2024).

Som Born Blonde 3,8%. Delt med Rune. Mørk stråfarget. Middels høyt tett skum som daler sakte. Spotlacing. Forsiktig maltaroma. Smaken kjeks & litt skaptbrent malt. Tørr avslutng. Bra bitterhet.

Cask at Dalton Bar in Hawick - clear gold small white head. Grassy nose with a biscuity malt taste. Decent enough.

Cask at Carters Rest, Jedburgh. Golden amber colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of pale malt, citric. Taste is sweetish, malt, biscuit with citrusy earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK

Cask at The Halfway House. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, bready, grainy, very grainy and soapy citrus. The taste is dry, grainy, oily, slick, biscuit, very grainy, raw, soapy citrus cereal and peanuts with a dry, grainy finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Hard to drink to be honest. Too oily, grainy and thick. Substandard.

Bottle from Belhaven Fruit Farm. Not much aroma, but some floral and malt notes, taste very similar, not a lot going on. Touch of citrus. Finishes medium length. Not a bad session beer.
