This beer pours a hazy brownish-ruby color with a medium light beige head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of tart fruit, oak, yeast and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of vinous oak, tart cherry, herbal yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart and oaky with a wine and funky yeast aftertaste. Good beer all around.

12 oz. bottle, sent from Alen (thanks man), pours an opaque dark cherry red with almost no head. Aroma of potent sour cherries, moderate red wine barrels, a bit of wild yeast and some oak. Flavour is intensely sour, with heaps of extremely sour cherries, a significant wild yeast component, dry red wine, and finishing on vinous, oaky notes. Puckering sourness all the way through with a remarkable complexity. The sour cherries are more noticeable on the nose, at least with regard to the fruitiness - they are just puckeringly sour on the tongue. All in all, another great rendition of the BA series.
