Zum 850-jährigen Bestehen Bergedorfs hatte eine Gruppe um H.-J. Bausewein die "Bergedorfer Braugesellschaft" gegründet und ein leicht dunkelgoldenes, vollmundiges und leicht malziges Bier in einer Altonaer Brauerei herstellen lassen.

0.33 l can from Eurospin store, Slovenske Konjice. Drank from the can. Mild grainy nose, sweet grainy and bready flavour. Watered down, virtually no bitterness, moderate carbonation, drinkable, light finish. Not the worst, but too sweet and soft.

Clean, light, crisp, very lagery and dry. Not super malty, almost noble hopped i think, with just a touch of darker malts. Graeff Hamburg

Bottle bought @ Edeka in Bergedorf. “Gebraut in Niedersachsen” on the label. Caramel and malt, smooth and nice, refreshing with a soft caramelly touch. Fruity with hints of bitterness in the end. Nice.

0,33 l can. Pours crystal clear (I can actually see my fingerprint through the glass), light golden with a finger of quite dense medium lasting white head. Aroma is minimal, a tiny bit of cardboard, some very light grainy aroma and that's about it. Taste is light sweet, hardly any bitterness. Body is light, texture on the watery side and carbonation above average. Finish is very short, a bit of bitterness comes from somewhere and fades immediately. Non offensive, but completely pointless...

Bottle, 5.8%. Weak caramelly aroma. Clear amber colour. Small stable grey or white head. The flavour is caramelly and slightly spicy. Seems like hop spiciness, but also a bit like spicy sugar. Low bitterness.

Bottle. Pours clear light amber with stable off-white head. Mild aroma of yeast, with malty touches. Sweetish flavour of malt, bread and yeast, with bitter notes of hops and metal and hints of dia. Bitter aftertaste of heavy metal and alcohol. Well, I am a fan of both but not in my beer. Below the average.

Can @ Home. Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, corn, cardboard notes. Flavor is sweet, malt, corn, light hay, light cardboard. Thin body, average carbonation, sweet finish. 080717

Can 0.5l, bought in Euro Spin Ptuj. ABV of 4.5%, not sure why this is listed as retired? In any case, clear golden pour with two finger soapy white head. Goes away almost instantly. Smell is malty and grainy, slightly sweet. Thin body with regular carbonation. Watery texture. Aroma and taste.... nothing to write home about. Usual macro supermarket lager. Bittersweet combination of malts, grains, corn and metal. Watery and boring. Cheap beer, but drinkable.

Klares dunkel goldenes Bier mit einer ordentlichen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, wenig reife Früchte, hopfig. Geschmack sehr malzig, leicht metallisch, reife Früchte, würzig.

Thanks to Willems-Urenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts strong-malty, fine spicy, dry background. A bit metallically. Some fine wheaty-grasy notes. FInish still strong. Could be more balanced. But still okay.
