Clear dark brown, small beige head. Aroma of well, yes, coffee. Also some nice nutty, caramel malts. Flavour is very mich all coffee, but unlike a stout, there is no roasty, just a sweet nuttiness, with toffee notes. Nice stuff.

A hazed brown bock with a thick receding brown head. In aroma, sweet fruit carmale with dark fruits and coffee, resinous and pleasant. light woody character, surprising. In mouth, nice caramel malt with good mocha coffee, sweet, caramelly, and pleasant. Bottle is about 2 years old and still going strong.

Tried this one at the Bridgehead on Sparks street in Ottawa, February 2012 (as their launch to this brew). Pours a deep copper colour with a creamy off-white head that is long lasting. The nose had great cacao scent with coffee notes and light fruitiness. The taste has nice coffee hints with smooth bitterness. Pretty nice collaboration with these two great local brewmasters.
