Nugget single-hopped ale. A clean, crisp single hopped golden ale. Take a journey into the fantastic variety of flavours different hops provide. These beers are designed to showcase the hip hop used and the hop is named to let you know which one you're experiencing. The base recipe and abv is always the same.

Clear gold beer with a tidy white head. Light dry palate, medium carbonation. A brief note of sweet tangerine is quickly swamped by astringent bitterness - too much so. Dry finish. Too bitter and dry by far.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer toppe by an off-white head. Rather grassy nose with some piney notes and a little maltyness. Sort of unpleasant bitterness, as well as grass, pine cones and a little maltyness. Lasting finish with bitterness dominating. Medium body, dry. Well, I like bitterness in my beers, but this one’s too one dimensional and sort of unpleasantly bitter. 120623

500ml bottle from The Bottle Shop, Canterbury. Pours clear gold leaving a clump of yeast at the bottom of the bottle. Thin beige head. Some hop on the aroma. Bitter in mouth. Almost too bitter. Some orange fruit, some almost clove spiciness then quite a lot of bitterness. Medium to light malts. Heavily and perhaps too heavily hopped for the body. Decent though
