On tap at Cellar. Pours a clear golden amber with a white head. Pine, citrus aroma. Flavor has sticky pine, citrus hops, and caramelly toasty malt. Solid.

Bottle. Medium fiery orange body, medium clumping off-white head. Aroma of tangerine and orange peel, sweet, oily, and bitter. Resinous, citrusy body, lots of tangerine and orange rind; alcohol noticeable and warming.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper with loads of carbonation on the sides of the glass, heavy streams heading to the surface and a decent but ephemeral head. Aromas are thick with caramel and maybe hold some herbal hops notes. Flavor shows a toffee to caramel transition up front and then a bitter finish that I would describe as resinous, even though it doesn’t really have that pine/spruce edge that I associate with that descriptor. Decent enough, but not inspiring in the least.
