22 oz bottle. Hazy copper pour with an off-white head. Aroma of red apple, berry, caramel hints. Flavor is mostly toasted biscuit with some caramel and toffee, little hints of red apple and citrus. Kind of a tartness to it. Fairly thin for a doppelbock. Rather tame.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear brownish red with a gray head that dissipated completely. Aroma was full of sweet grain that was balanced by a dark bread note and a bit of hay and roast. Flavor was similar with a sweet start that mellowed with dark grain and a hint of toast and roast.
