17/VI/2012 - 75cl bottle from La Vieille Forge/Grand Café (Houffalize) @ Akke's BBQ - BB: 5/I/13 (2012-635)

Cloudy yellow beige beer, small white head, unstable, dissipates immediately, non adhesive. Aroma: little sweet, lots of orange peel, some spices, grains, coriander. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of spices, coriander, bit sweet, citrus, pretty watery though. Aftertaste: some coriander, watery finish. Meh.

Good fine white head over near-clear yellow-golden beer. End of bottle more haze. Coriander, citrus, wheat, very classical, nowhere exagerated. Citrus dominant in the flavours, coriander only comes out in the finish. Quite refreshing, wheat slickness. Overall is as the nose has been defined: classical, but integrated, not too much coriander, OK white, maybe as an old Celis witte.
