Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt orange to amber cloudiness; two fingers of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: lots of tropical fruity hop notes; light clean malts
Flavor: leans towards the sweet throughout consumption, ever so slight bitterness at the end; finishes malty with some tropical fruits
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness
Overall: pretty good, I could have again.

12 oz can. Pours a bright amber with light head. Aromas of tropical fruit/melons, candied citrus and bready malts. Flavors of tropical fruit, a little grassy resin, and doughy malts. Bitter finish. Quite nice.

Bit muddy. Aroma is fairly bright, with papaya notes but also kind of yeasty. Lighter body and bitterness but has some bright character again. At least that finishing hop is nice but indistinct malts and too much yeastiness undermine it.

Bottle - Sweet, tropical nose with some Mandarin. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Sweet and very fruity with a long sweet peel finish. Pretty decent.

Tasting at Matt’s; 8.7%
Cloudy amber color. Less caramel and more resiny hops than the other IIPA from the same brewery, not sweet, a bit pungent, some citrus peel. Good beer.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy, murky orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of butterscotch, floral hops, and some resinous hop oils. Flavour is rather muddled, with earthy hops and some floral notes. Not a good construction. Everything is really muddled and lacking cohesion. Not too good.
