Being pursued by a giant assortment of laser-equipped cupcake-spaceships is many things, but it is certainly no time to panic. Miracle Mike and his galactic canine Bionic have been through far worse, and they always seem to find a way past the relentless pursuit of the Space Cake fleet. This Double IPA features robust hop aromas that carry through to the strong juicy flavors of tropical citrus. A sweet and strong malt backbone pairs with a subtle booziness to make Space Cake an approachable DIPA fit for an extraterrestrial odyssey.

Can at the strait and narrow. Amber colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty bitter pine resin and the slight citrus. Hints of floral. Long bitter. Full body.

An amber beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has grapefruit, caramel, pine. Taste has caramel, pine, resin, nicely strong bitterness. Medium+ bodied. Nice old-style DIPA. Great beer.

Pours coppery amber with a thick white head. Aroma of orange, pine. Taste has nice woody notes, sweet resin, pine oils, some bright lemon notes. Palate has more pine, some licorice, citrus oils that linger on the tongue, resinous. Really good.

12 Beers of Christmas box sent by Clown Shoes. Pours with the expected pine and resin nose, but also some guava and orange peel. Bright orange to amber beer under a fluffy head and very little haziness. Taste is right down the middle for the double IPA style, especially the West Coast kind. Pine and citrus in equal measure, along with some sticky malts delivering a note of alcohol. Goes down quickly. Just enough punch with few pretensions.

Can which I think that I picked up from Beer Republic Webshop, Breda Netherlands and consumed at home Monday 12th December 2022 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music and warming up a homemade Thomasina Miers, Chilli con Carne with Tortilla Wraps, Guacamole, Sour Cream and Salsa. This is absolutely fabulous, pours hazy amber with a white head, resinous, nice soft mouthfeel, lovely punchy and ever lasting bitterness, wonderful maltiness. Yeah great beer.

T: sweet pineapple & mandarin, bitter orange peel & biscuit.
F: bitter piney & floral hops, grapefruity & tropical, some alcohol warmth.
P: medium to full body, oily texture, average carbonation.
Straightforward but this brewery doesn't disappoint in this style.
