“Je Moeder smaakt naar bloemetjes!” … De een na de ander die aan haar zit, roept het. Bij Vet&Lazy horen we het bijna dagelijks. We weten wel hoe dat komt hoor: het zijn de bloemige aroma’s van de vlierbloesem en de zoetzure smaak van hibiscus. Met Je Moeder hebben we een klassiek kruidige blonde tripel neergezet, met een zachte licht zoete afdronk. Hmm… Bekijk haar maar even goed. En als je een nipje van haar neemt, voel je al snel het diepe, hartstochtelijke verlangen opborrelen. “Barman! Ik wil Je Moeder!” Het is eruit voor je het doorhebt. En gelukkig maar. Succes hè… En geniet ervan.

Small whitish rim; clear, darker copper beer. Very perfumey, almonds, vanilla, estery. Almondy, amandine and a bit metallic backthroat. Faint alcohol, even enhancing the sweetness. Very slick, but bit empty feel. Feels better carbonated than it looks. Wààày to perfumey, and I don't mean floral. Vanilla version of a tripel. As comparing Zelda to the Witcher. Txs to Stef!

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweetish malt, thick oats, yeast, sweet ripe fruits, dried fruits, caramel, clove, notes of vegetables (DMS), a bit syrupy. Flavour is quite sweet and light bitter with a touch of booze. Body is medium. Clumsy with cloying sweetness, not good.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Cloudy orange coloured brew with an very candysweet of taste with some bitterness, hints of elderberry, banana, apricot, rosehip and some spices.

Draft at Pardoen, Rotterdam. Poured a clear golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is toffee caramel boozy alcohol. The flavour is strong sweet with a rich toffee, sugary, big boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle, 8.5%. Faint paper and fruit aroma. Clear dark copper colour. Small white head. The flavour is sweetish and peppery. Bready and malty finish with a touch of white sugar. Looks and tastes a little oxidized, but still a good beer.

33cl bottle. A clear dark golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of sweet breadish malt, caramel, yeast. Taste of herbal malt, wheat, pale malt, belgian yeast.
