Löyly is a Minnesota take on a traditional Northern European Sahti. It is brewed utilizing a hand hewn kuurna (hollowed out log) with juniper branches and juniper berries. The beer takes its name from the Finnish word for the heat and steam that envelopes you while in the sauna.

Can. Pours a clear amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice light smoke with a decent amount of juniper and some light sweet grains underlying. Flavor is smokey throughout with touches of juniper and sweet grains supporting.
