Bottle 330ml (BB 12.2021). Almost dark with delicate and very short beige haed. Aroma is intense, sweet, malty with sweet note of vanilla and small hint of alcohol. Sweet, malty and alcohol in taste, that’s main notes. There are also vanilla, dark fruits and medium bitterness with a little bit alcohol character. Full body with oil consistency warms in the throat and inside. Realy good, smooth even though quite big note of alcohol but I drink it with huge dose of pleasure. Bourbon barrel made good job.

Borefts VIII. Day 1. Think this was a bottle pour. Light haze on this deep amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth sweet malts, touch of cream. Smooth spice and sweet esters. Trace of barrel induced emulsion paint. Licorice covered spicy fruits and fruity bourbon. Light and semi dry spicy finish. Nice.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Very dark brown with small beige head. Lots of booze, marzipan, cognac, some bourbon but actually more oxidized boozy notes. Light chocolate, some nuts, dried apple. Very sweet with quite some bitter alcohol. Also light salty finish. Full bodied with sticky sugary feel and low carbonation. Very boozy but nice aroma.
