Served into a UK half pint glass at the Tap East brew pub (Jan ’12). Golden/Blonde in colour with a very small (almost no) head. smells slightly of hops, but not too strong in this area, citrus and pine come off also. a good bitter flavour and with slight citrus taste - maybe a marmaladey/orange, but only slightly so. Mouthfeel - quite a light beer without much body but a plesant dry/bitter aftertaste. A fairly typical and well produced English bitter.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, toffee, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, acrid peel bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120114]

On tap at the Brewpub. Hazy gold beer, tiny white head. Smooth palate with mild fine carbonation. Nice condition. Neutral pale malt support well balanced hops that are fresh and pretty bitter. Grapefruit and orange. Finishes semi dry with mild minerals and a bitter aftertaste that has legs! A pretty hoppy golden, done well.
