Born from our passion for experimentation, our Briney Melon Gose boasts a thirst-quenching tartness that is perfectly balanced by subtle watermelon flavors and aromas. Gentle additions of sea salt create a refreshing harmony between the acidity and fruity sweetness leading to clean, dry finish.

Reviewed from notes. Consumed 08/14/2021
On tap at McGillicuddy's Five Corners, Essex Junction, VT.
Appearance: pale yellow semi-cloudiness with a bar pour's kind of slim white foamy head which slid off immediately to not leave any lace
Aroma: salty then the watermelon and every sniff I took I wasn't entirely sure if the watermelon was artificial or genuine, it seemed to turn each time (so I throw my hands up on that part, whatever)
Flavor: salty and watermelon (artificial or geunine, once again I couldn't really tell - hmmmm, how odd); finishes salty and that unknown watermelon sweetness
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, some smoothness but also some salty stains on the tongue
Overall: just because a beer has salt in it, doesn't mean it's a gose, how arrogant of the brewer to slap the word "gose" on the end to misinform people.

Can from Die Bierkonig, consumed on the streets of A’dam. It’s what it says on the tin really, pleasantly tart with a slight, but definite watermelon character and a good portion of salt, mainly in the finish. Light bodied, easy to drink.

Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, some fruity, mild melon and a bit salty tones to it. Flavour fruity, some melon, mild salty tones with some lemongrassy tones too. Nicely dry palate.

Bottle at home. Aroma is tart fruits, lemon, sea salt, wheat, slight notes of melon. Flavour is tart, moderate to medium sour and quite salty. Body is light. Nice Gose, quite salty, though I had hoped for a lot more melon.
