Can. A deep reddish brown beer topped by a dense, two-finger dark beige head, lacings. Quite neutral aroma with some roasted malts, licorice and coffee. It’s smooth and soft on the palate, medium bodied and semi-sweet. Caramel, some chocolate notes and roasted malts in the flavor, with a faint bitterness. Lasting, soft finish. Quite nice this one, but too boring. 141018

(Can) Dark brown colour with dense, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark rye bread, treacle toffee, coffee and dark fruit. Malty, roasted taste with notes of black rye bread, chocolate, toffee and a touch of orange peel in a finish with a gentle, spicy bitterness. Medium body, fairly rounded mouthfeel, with a touch of sweetness. Quite enjoyable.

330ml can picked up at Systembolaget Kiruna. Bubbly, dense and frothy, beige head dissipating over a deep rosewood coloured body. Dotted spots to the glassware. Smell of roasted chocolate malts. Moderate taste profile of mid-sweet, choco-caramel malts with a little roastiness. Malt bitter endnotes. Just alright (Tromsø, 30.06.2012).
