It’s been two years since we brewed the OG Damson Crumble and we are still regularly asked; ‘when is it coming back?’ Damsons are in distress over the sheer amount squashed into this bigger, fruitier version. Paired with delicious custard-y vanilla, these little purple dynamos flex their fruity muscles with a wild 420g per pint/740g per litre!

Draught keg at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Bluish purplish brown and hazy with a massive purple/white head. I'm getting plum, baked bready notes from the nose as one would expect. Sweet/sour taste, a little metallic, more fruit here. I feel like it's got all the ingredients here but they are not really gelling. Lightish body with medium carbonation. A rare meh from Shiny.

440ml can in the Wheeltapper, Loughborough on 20th January 2025, my 'Night Cap'. Murky Damson red, wispy pink head. Vanilla sweetness verses semi-sour Damsons with crumble to the side. Interesting and different, Good Night!
