Bottled, thanks fiulijn. Pours clear pale amber, no head. Distinct coffee aromas comes through amongst honey and dry white wine. Rather slender and citric. Mint, orange, blueberries and coffee - tangerines and white wine in a slightly warming finish. Nicely drinkable mead.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear amber without head. Aroma is sweet honey and coffee. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Medium sweet and light bitter finish. 300312

Bottle @ Fonefan tasting. No head. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are coffee, honey and alcohol. Odd combination but works well. Spicy finish.

Bottle @ AA-Meeting, Western Denmark 2012. Pours clear amber with bubbles on top. Fresh coffee bean, vague honey and alcohol. Slick and oily. Fits.. Tasty.

Had this at the 2011 mid summer morning mead tasting at Vintage, nice place, those people have the only mead sampling that I know about in the greater Pgh area. Sweet delicate aroma of mild coffee, so friendly and unlike rude coffee beer smells. Reddish orange. In the flavor, coffee is just there and its the perfect amount of off-mead spice. Pleasant and friendly, I was a little surprised. No co2 what so ever.

Bottle shared with others at the post NotB tasting. Poured clear gold with a slight orange hue and a surprising small white head that started and remained at the edges. Aroma was mainly roasted coffee beans with a backing sweet honey note. Flavor had much more honey in it with a the coffee beans only coming out in the finish.

From bottle at Sunset Grill. Pours dark orange with no head. Aroma is coffee herbal, light sweet honey note. Sweet to sugarish with a dry herbal coffee touch. Mild bitter coffee and honey flavoured finish. Ends dry herbal, subdued sweetness.
