Beer commissioned by a drinks store and a beer club, brewed by a gypsy brewer in the kettles of an actual brewery - a typical Belgian construction, it seems... Thanks to tderoeck. Thick and foamy, snow white, membrane-lacing, regularly shaped, stable head on a misty deep golden beer with peachy hue, turning all 'dirty', dark greyish brown and muddy when the sediment is added. Aroma of dried apricot, old bread, fresh parsnip, old cardboard and some 'rusty' oxidation, dried field flowers, straw, banana peel, cloves, old carrots. Crisp, fruity onset still, with hints of apple peel, some banana and unripe peach, restrainedly sweetish with light sourish edge, well-carbonated with a smooth, soft mouthfeel. Slick bread crumb-like and cereally malt body, noticeably oxidized ('rusty') in the end, with some spicy phenolic notes (clove) and ending with a confident, long and leafy, lingering hop bitterness. Well-balanced, sufficiently hop bittered quencher, rather predictable and very commonly 'Belgian' but decent enough; the sample I got, was however clearly past its prime and oxidized, a factor I cannot but take into account in my rating here. Will certainly revisit fresh when given the chance.

Bottle, thanks Tim. Nice. Easy drinking, initial grassy hoppiness. Taste is good, initial citrus and blonde kind of taste but there's some smoke too. Interesting.

Bottle shared at the Great Job America tasting. Hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma of fruity hops, light yeast, light caramel notes, a little herbal and light malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Not very saison-ish.

33cl bottle shared with Kermis at the "Disaster, Trump will be president" tasting :-( Thick creamy white head. Very hazy golden pour. Refreshing.

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow color, medium szied white head, some yeast residu floating in there. Aroma reminds me more of a Belgian ale / Belgian blond rather than a saison. Actually not that bad as I don’t really like saisons that much. Flavor is pretty nice: malts, a nice medium bitterness, European hops, bitter hops. Perhaps the slightest whiff of fruit, just every now and then I get a touch of fresh green apple. Medium body and carbonation. Quite nice.

14/VIII/16 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: n/a (2016-848) Thanks to Steven L. for the bottle!
Hazy dark blond beer, big creamy irregular white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass, lots of funk floating in the beer. Aroma: nice and fruity, bit malty, some grassy hops, citrus, smoky touch? Must be the neighbours lighting up their BBQ. :p MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, yeasty, some citrus, still that smoky touch, sweet, bit sugary, some almonds. Aftertaste: little bitter, smoky, yeasty, sweet finish.

24/07/2016 - 33 cl bottle from a trade with jerre. Clear golden-orange colour with nice white head, small chuncks floating, high carbonation. Fruity, especially orange and some spices, a bit sugar.
