Bottle. Pours slightly hazy dark copper brown with small beige head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, hops and dried fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of roasted malt and caramel. Coffee beans in the finish. Not bad but not a masterpiece, either.

Bottled. Deep brown colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, toffee, syrup and wood along with some floral notes. Flavour is sweet fruits, liquorice, syrup, toffee and some mild yeastyness. Rather similar to the stout in many ways.

500 ml bottle, bought at Superbrugsen, Hirtshals. ABV is 5.2%. Murky brown colour, rocky beige head. Moderate aroma, brown malts, brown bread, some caramel. Soft mouthfeel. Pleasant malty flavour, notes of brown bread / brown toast, some caramel but not too sweet, mild roasty notes and very moderate hops in the aftertaste. Quite enjoyable.

0.5l bottlle shared with The Tasting Crew. It's a gusher, and a massive massive one! The foam is enormous fluffy, kinda dirty miscolored brown and a bit all over the place top. Oh! It really rides through your nose this! Stinks of bakers yeast! Smells exactly like my mothers dough mic before adding the flour. As I push my nose down in the glass I get some traces of both chocolate, fresh banana and licorice-leather. It grow on you, but holding the glass a bin on a distance the bakers yeast brings back old memories. It's above average on the carbonation and light fizzy-oily on the mouthfeel. Nice roasted flavors. Some chocolate and leather. It's leaving a mouthdrying feeling in the mouth - much the same you get when you eat fresh green bananas. It's actually quite pleasant this. Did not expect it to taste as good as it actually did when we opened the bottle. Highly enjoyable in a nostalgic way. 09.01.2013

Thanks to Skinnyviking for a 500ml bottle of this one. Smoke and shot when opened. Cloudy, dark orange coloured body. Beige head. Spiced fruity smell. Jam-like taste, bite of yeasty fruitiness. Malt-fruity ending. Drinkable (Copenhagen, hotel room 13.05.2012).

On tap. Pours a murky, cloudy brown with a creamy beige head. Pretty disgusting phenollic aroma. Medium body, sweet roast and heavy - almost Belgian-style - yeast. Tired mouthfeel. Pretty damned nasty. 110512
