When the brewers at Mad Fox and the team of Granville Moore’s got together to collaborate on a brew we knew it had to Belgian inspired. We chose the yeast strain from the Duvel Moortgat Brewery, malts from Europe that include German pilsen, Belgian biscuit and aromatic. Then we used Citra hops for both kettle additions and dry hopping. The result is very complex yeast characteristic melding with a very fruit forward hop. This brew also packed a surprising amount of malt that after fermentation weighs in at a robust. Aged in Cabernet Barrels.
