0.5l bottle. This is a dark caramel bronze looking one with a medium sized lacing beige top. The nose is toffee sweetish. Tones if butter, a little diacetyl, apples, dark sugar. It's thin oily in the mouth and about average on the carbonation. No, make that really thin in the mouth - at least at first. On the good side this has a fair amount of red berries; on the not so good side there's dry cardboard and it's definitely kinda old tasting. Dryish. Not a favorite but it kinda grows drinkable on you after a while. 06.07.2014

Bottle: Lots of floaties visible, reddish-amber coloured, small and lacy off-white head; malt and caramel and sweet berries in the nose, herbal to medical hops in smsll amounts detectable; mild bitter-sweet flavour, soft and light bodied; slightly lingering malty-fruity finish, supported by mild herbal hops in the aftertaste. Quite O.K. …

Cask at the Foot of the Walk, Leith. Reddish brown, clear and very flat. Berries, forest floor and slight chocolate bouquet. Meh. The taste is a step up: sweet, fruity and rounded, with some hoppy bitterness in the surprisingly dry finish. A workaday red bitter from Williams Bros but tasty nonetheless.

Bonito color rubí. Dos dedos escasos de espuma. Dulce aroma acaramelado. En boca toque picante efervescente que acompaña muy bien a un sabor entre malteado y muy lupulado, frutal, mandarina y floral. Buen conjunto. Notable.
