Old rating - A 650ml bottle brought back from Mauritius by a friend. Possibly the worst beer I've ever had, not helped by the fact it poured a amber colour with no life & no head. Tasted malty. It had been cellared for some time but was still inside the best before date. Very disappointing. Different bottle of beer in my home No. 1969

Bottle courtesy of Sudes. Il gusto al naso viene attratto da orzo e metallo. La finezza olfattiva è un timido profumo. Il cappello di schiuma non è molto persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è medio. L'amaro è moderato. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, biscotto, cereali, frutta secca ed erbaceo.

Eine Art Bockbier von der Insel Mauritius, allerdings kein wirklich gutes. Es wurde mit Zuckergestreckt und so der Alkoholgehalt künstlich erhöht. Geschmacklich fehlen mir die feinen Aromen nach Trockenfrüchten oder Gewürzen; es ist einfach nur klebrig-süß. Da sind mir leichte Strandbiere noch lieber.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Süßlich malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, getreidig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit leichter Bitterkeit.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Bottle at a tasting with buddies Cuso, Rubin77, Wendigo. Full of off-flavours. Corny, DMS, metallic, astringently grainy. Not very tasty, actually quite bad.
