LSAT Freedom Trip #95. Bomber from Whole Foods Ashburn. Very hazy orange, thin fizzy white head, poor retention. Aroma of citrus, earth, caramel. The taste is piney and citrus hops. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

11 ounces of a 22oz bottle, poured at home. Bottle purchased from Red Apron in the Mosaic District. Poured a golden yellow color with an off-white head. Aroma was floral character, grapefruit citrus. Flavor was light malt, caramel notes, lots of juicy hop character. Pretty tasty, smooth, and a touch boozy, but not heat thankfully.

22oz bottle from Norm’s pours a fairly murky orange with some fluffy, lacing white head. Nose has a blend of honey comb and orange, dried sticky orange juice, resin, malt. Flavor follows, chewy malts and pithy citrus, resinous, floral too. Sticky finish. Old school.
