Bottle. Black with a beautiful big beige head. Aroma of malts, brown sugar and milk chocolate. Taste is more malts, sugar and cocoa. The sweetness is turned up to eleven. Medium carbonation. Ugh. If it wasn’t for the syrup it would probably be very dull - and I would have preferred it that way

500 ml bottle. Murky brown red, big fluffy head. Syrup, brown sugar, roasted malt, light citrus, some nuts. Sugary sweetness, mild dryness. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, sweet finish. Could have been nice without the syrup added.

Pitch black and opague. Malty, slightly smoky Brussel sprouts aroma. Very sweet and malty with some lactic sourness an loads of fruit, especially peach and pineapple. Rather thin and just a bit dusty. Strange beer, not very bad but with an unusual flavor that won't appeal to a lot of people. Has some resemblance to a Belgian stout.

50 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Trinkgut Kleve. Clear black with a big off-white head. Mildly roasted malts and caramel in the aroma. Taste is very sweet, really too sweet. Could be a lot better if the sweetness was a bit more subdued.
