A colourful mix of Packham & Bosc pears spent autumn and winter aging in a barrel fermented saison. Beautiful, bright, crisp and refreshing and very much a saison for the season.

Tap at Beermash, Melbourne. Pours unclear mid gold with brief white foam. Pears, caramel, saison yeast aroma. The taste follows, light tartness. Medium body with low carbonation.

Can. Cloudy pale brown. A white head fizzes away as it pours. Funky pear aroma with some singed caramel, hints of wine vinegar. And those hints come through - it's moderately sour with pears (which let's face it are a pretty bland fruit) a little breadcrust. Some spices. Not convinced this is as intended. Lacks shape.
