Hans is a tribute to Brewer Andy’s dad. Hans had generously tolerated the plundering of his imported German beers during Andy’s spirited youth. Fatherhood is a job of great sacrifice. Hans is a light-bodied, smooth tasting German style lager. It is great for sharing, especially with a cool parent.

Part of Nita's Spring Mixed Pack 2025. Pours a clean (gets a little hazy at last pour), golden colour with a frothy white head, good stay and lots of foamy-soapy lacing. The aromas remind me of a German Pilsener with fresh herbal hops over mild sweet maltiness. The flavours shows the same with a nice grassy, bittering touch in the finish, that even lingers. Quite a nice, hoppy German Pilsener-style beer that goes down well.
