Bottle from Arcade Beers, Huddersfield. Very mildly hazy golden coloured with a head. Citrus based brew but very bland tasting, with not much pils character to be found - perhaps some in nose. Texture is fine in the palate.

Cask at the Red Lion, Amblecote. Pours light gold with a small head. Aroma is straw and minerals. Taste has minerals to start and an eggy mineral finish.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. Not quite an explosive opening, but producing a glass full of fratohy white head; after a while, and with lots of careful topping up, this revealed a hazy straw coloured body; and an aroma of damp straw; deeply bitter with some estery fruit - perhaps showing that pilsner isn’t a style that benefits from heavy hopping.
