Cask at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Aromas of coffee beans, dark chocolate, raisin, dark fruits. Taste is similar to the above with a spot of liquorice toffee coming through in the back end. Light malty bitter finish.

Halifax Beer Festival 2023. Wooden cask version with its ageing very evident. Has a sweetened dark malt character in both aroma and taste, although not the coffee notes as you might expect from the name.

Bottle. Beer Central Sheffield. Clear dark brown. Nicely dense ring of tan. Nose has earthy coffee grinds. Vinous notes. Not sure where the Irish bit is. Taste is slightly sweet with robust earthy bitterness. Nice smooth mouthfeel with fine carbonation. More coffee to finish. Decent.
