Bottle 500ml (Vinmonopolet)
Deep ruby color, decent beige head and lace. Caramel, medicinal notes and coffee in the nose. Medium-bodied. Caramel-toffeish, medicinal, a bit toasted and alcoholic. Tolerable but not really my kind of bock.

Duft av malt, frukt, karamell og krydder. Mørk brun farge, nesten sort. Tykt lysbrunt skum. Smak av malt, frukt, krydder og en anelse karamell.

500ml bottle brought from Vinmonopolet Langnes by Rune. Nice bottle, Dark rosewood coloured body, with brown filmy layer on top. Roasted almonds, licorice, burnt malt and hint of clove in the aroma. Sweet, then I just felt nauseated and disgusted by the taste of pulp and sour malt. It’s best described like having an acid reflux that leaves the taste of your last meal in your mouth aka "mini sick" (Rating Session 3.Jan.2012)

Jajaja ... Grans er konsekvens variable, men dette er slett ikke så ille, kanskje litt brutalt robust, men ikke ille.

500 ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes kindly shared by Rune at Beer session XVIII in Tromsø 030112. Boring bottle and label design typical of Lade Gaards Brygghus. Dark brown/mahogany body with a small brown-beige head. Aroma of burnt malts and almonds, sweet liqourice and chocolate. Flavour initially attempts to trick you with crude sweetness, but soon turns the wrong way with sour malts and shades of acid reflux. A perfectly good way to ruin a Christmas dinner.

500 ml bottle. Clear, dark amber body with a nice, dence beige head. Aroma is caramel and fruit with quite a lot of acidity. Flavor is dominated by some kind of fruity acidity, feels almost like something between oude brune and lambic, but not in a pleasant way. Definitively infected and just partly drinkable, still quite interesting in a weired way. Must be re-rated if possible.
