Bottle. O’Briens, Huddersfield. Pale, green tinged gold. Light haze. Slim ring of white head. Nose has fresh dessert apple. Preserved lemon. Vanilla oak. Touch of caramel. Rye grain. Taste has sweet vanilla first up, with a light tart and spritzy bitterness. Bright and clean on the palate, coming across like a softer carbonated version of a good sparkling wine. Crisp and lightly tart finish.
