Bottle, big thanks to Fantome Mike. Fair amount of pressure on opening, and for a split second I thought I’d got away with it. Nope. Much pissing all over the kitchen ensued. Anyhow, once it calmed down it’s a murky, deep conker brown, with a super dense, beige ring. Nose has morello cherry jam on well buttered, slightly burnt toast. Taste has a cherry juice, cherry stone bitterness. Smooth on the palate. Soft, foamy carbonation. More cherry to finish. On the way there’s almond, vanilla, brown sugar and ashy dryness. Great beer.
