Bottle. Bier Huis, Ossett. Dingy, copper colour. Dirty white suds. Fairly leggy. Nose has sweet toffee malts. Spicy hop. Some baked, scorched citrus. Some minty herb. Taste is pretty sweet, with a nicely punchy, spicy, citrusy hop leaf bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Lacks a bit of condition, as per a Five Towns bottled offering, which is a shame, because it could have been a blinder.
