Tap. Sheffield Tap. Clear brown. Thin, filmy, beige head. Light, nutty malt. Whisper of butter. Hint of cocoa and fruit. Taste is nutty dry. Smooth, milky palate. Finishes dry, with a hint of sweet. Easy drinking. Enjoyed this.

Draught (Wirströms, Stockholm) - Dark brown with red tinges. Peanuts, brown sugar and some roasted notes in the aroma. Slightly earthy too. The taste is earthy and nutty with dried fruit, roasted malt and peanuts. Interesting.

Keg at Craft Clerkenwell, Leather Lane, London Thursday 30th October 2014. Pours dark brown slight murkiness. Aroma is a sort of dusty, monkey nut husk. Its a little dusty and somewhat indistinct in the mouth. I guess this is rather Brown Ale like so in that respect fine, and if truth be known not one of my favourite styles. I still get a dusty flavour, hops non existent (thats fine) a little nutty bite, its ok. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Draught @ Olut Expo Finland 2014
Aroma has strong peanut(!) tones, some wood and chocolate. Basically this is quite exactly what a liquid peanut butter would smell like. The peanut is more dominant and obvious than in any other beer. Flavour has toffee, some peanuts and woody tones. Also some roastiness and coffee. Aroma is peanut butter but flavour is brown ale with a touch of peanut butter. Go figure.

Pours dark brown with a smooth head. Aroma of peanut butter, toffee, caramel and malts. Taste is sweet, grainy and malty with loads of peanut butter, toffee and caramel. Finish is sweetish and stuffy with some caramel and nutty notes. Quite weird.

Tap at Olutexpo 2014, Helsinki. Colour is clear light brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Dryness, nuts, fruits and malts. Quite weak body, massive nuts in aroma, needs more maltiness.

Tap@ olutexpo 14. Dark brown, thick creamy white head. Very nutty aroma, salty, nuts overrides everything. Salty peanuts, bread, sweetness. Light bodied.

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours clear brown, thin off white head. Aromas of peanuts and something like bitter green vegetables, cabbage maybe. Taste is sweet and nutty. Odd. I think Yellow Belly has ruined me for other peanut-like beers.
