Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Pale copper colour. Soft haze. Thick and lasting, leggy, white head. Nose is full of old school sweet malt, and grapefruit bitterness. Notes of ginger spice. Ripened stone fruit. Some sappy pine. Smells great. Taste is toothy sweet, with a sappy, citrusy, spicy bitterness. Medium body. Belies the ABV admirably. Fine carbonation. Lingering fruity, spicy bitterness to finish. Five Towns at the top of their game.

From yesterday. Tasted great. Also tried it as part of a black & tan with Methuselah. Oof!
