Cask. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Clear gold. Suds of lasting, white foam. Nose has ripe citrus. Some pineapple. Ripe, yellow melon. Big on the fruity hop. Trace of spicy malt. Taste is a tad sweet, with a fruity, ripe and fusty, citrus bitterness. Light body. Soft fizz. Bitterness lingers on the finish. Pleased to report that NR cask stuff seems back to it’s usual high standard, after a bit of a blip.
