The aroma, though, is don’t judge a book by it’s cover, awesome. Notes of caramel truffle. Fudge. Melted, quality chocolate. Hint of coffee. Hint of raspberry. All underpinned and toned down by the Belgian yeast. Taste is twangy, and raspberry tart sweet. Decent dark chocolate bitterness. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Very soft carbonation. Raspberry ruffle to finish. Holy fuck, this brewer winds me up. One day he’ll nail it, and I’ll be dishing out a 4.7 or something daft. Until then...
