Bottle, picked up at the brewery. Hazy, pale amber. Dense, glossy topped, lasting, lacing, pale beige head. Nose has lemon and lime. Spicy rye. Scorched grapefruit. Hint of grated ginger. Typically unusual, and intriguing, Poppyland character to this. Taste sets off sweet, with some spicy, scorched citrus bitterness. Medium body. A little oily and slick. Fine carbonation. Bitterness builds on the finish with a light dry close. Great stuff.
