750ml bottle from Booths, Media City. Plum coloured with a thin head. The ginger spice is dominant, however it’s certainly not overbearing, with cinnamon also evident. Despite its strength it has a pleasant, easy-drinking texture.

750ml bottle. Trembling Madness, York. Clear, amber colour. Thin, beige head. Aroma of cinammon. Nutmeg. Dried vine fruit. Taste is soapy sweet. Light bitter. Soapy mouthfeel. Finishes short sweet. Really not my bag.

On cask at the Shambles Tavern in York . Deep amber to brown with a decent head. Nutmeg and ginger are generally jumping out of the glass but some biscuits too. A spiced Christmas beer where the spices are just within the realms of what could be described as balanced.
