Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, dark red. Slim halo of beige head. Nose has tart, hedgerow fruit. Cherry stone. Black cherry. Sugary, fruit bun malts. Some vanilla and spice, and the like. Taste has a sugary sweetness, quickly followed by a tart, spicy, vinous bitterness. Soft carbonation and a chewy palate keeps things rich and fruity. Long, spicy, bitter finish, with the vine fruit tartness remaining throughout. Very nice.
