Cask. 40th Steel City Beer Festival, Sheffield. Bizarre purple colour, with a pink head. Looks like a fruit beer. I can only imagine there are colourings in this batch. Anyway, there’s a little sweet malt. Light fruit. Not much else. Taste and palate are pretty underwhelming. There isn’t much to say about this. Not good.

Cask @ Beckett’s Bank, Leeds. Dark copper-gold with a small head. Some malt in its aroma, a little more in its taste, although it’s quite crisp and smooth in the palate. Decent but not high on any taste or flavour.
