Bottle from Drink? Hendon Bridge. Very dark, but clear brown with a thin bubbly head. Has noticeably strong dark malts in both its aroma and taste. These are a fusion of sweet and roasted malts - it’s a bit soapy tasting for it.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear, dark, chestnut brown. Filmy, but lasting, pale tan head. Dried fruit. Coffee beans. Light, dark chocolate. Taste is dry as a bone. Very ashy. Lots of harsh, bitter tartness. Palate feels thin. Finish is tart, dry and harsh bitter. The only beer I’ve had from this brewer that I wouldn’t have again. It lives by the coffee, then dies by it, too. Brew this with quality coffee, as opposed to this coffee, and it might have been good...
