Bottle from Stadbrouwerij van Kollenburg. An IPA that’s more preoccupied with an array of malts rather than hops, it’s no surprise that the aroma is malt-forward with ripe red fruits, slight caramel, bread, light metallic notes and a brett infection. Flavour is mildly sweet and bitter with some sourish notes from the infection. Body is medium. Rough and malty, messy flawed stuff. Not a complete loss though, but your mileage may vary.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Donkerbruin bier, heftig schuimend tijdens inschenken. Schuim trekt snel weg tot er een film blijft liggen. Aroma is hoppig en licht fruitig. De smaak is zacht bitter. Weinig nasmaak, ietsje bitter.

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een roodbruin bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige wat caramelachtige geur. De smaak is moutig, toffee achtig en hoppig en boterig.

6 3 6 3 12Draft at Bar Le Duc. Very hazy brown with a light tan head. Aroma of red fruits, orange and caramel malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with very soft carbonation.
