(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 26 Feb 2014) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, wheaty nose with notes of bread, banana and apple-sauce. Malty, wheaty taste with white bread, banana, lemon and hay. Medium body, with a certain sweetness and low bitterness. Decent hefeweizen, without really standing out. Quite enjoyable.

Standard German hefeweizen. May be biological and all, but the taste is nothing special.

Cloudy yellow, off-white head, at first frothy, thin layer remains. Aroma
sweet bread, floral, strong on citrus, coriander, dough. Taste starts light sweet, than light sour, fresh, creamy. Light to medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, mildly sour finish with a hint of bitterness. Quite a fresh and smooth Weizen.

Bottled, BB march 2014, large sample. Cloudy golden color, medium off-white head. Aroma of clove, some banana, grainy wheat, bit earthy hop, slight spicy. Bit sweet taste, quite creamy. Bit thin in flavor perhaps. And not as refreshing, more malt-forward instead of yeast character. Bit sharpish finish. Mediocre weizen.

Appearance is light orange and hazy. Generally quite a mild flavour. Lightly wheaty, lightly sweet. Watery feel.

Small, very dense white head, whipped eggwhite-like, over fully hazy orange beer. End of bottle utterly yeast-laden. Lots of clove, some banana, milkchocolate, solvent. Solvent, banana, citrus, with a fine bitterish ending; very good rounding, balancing the faint citrussy wheatacidity. Faintly vanilla. Very estery. Wheatslickness in high amounts, seems to be a bit oily, as the one our of orangeskins. Quite convincing, pleasing Weizen, much in the Frankenlander tradition.

30cl bottle. --> Sehr leckeres Hefeweizen. Frisch, spritzig, ausgewogen!
