Bottle shared with TO on board Baluba in Egersund 31.07.16. Almost ebony. Very huge, and persistent, brown head and lacing. Fine aroma, with roaste malt and toffe. Roasted malt, dark toffee and coffee in taste. Quite dry. Refreshing and tasteful!

Flaske, delt med Willy på brygga: nesten helt svart med mørkerødt skjær. Kort skum. Mørkbrent kaffe, aske, (over)modne solbær og et hint av lakris helt mot slutten. Saftig anslag og tørr avslutning. Behagelig bitterhet i ettersmaken.

Svart med rødskjær med høyt beige skum som legger seg fort. Malt, kaffe, einebær, mørk sjokolade,, kakao mye lukter her. Ikke like kompleks i smaken, men kommer søtlige og bitre smaker. Espresso. Lite kullsyre, kort litt saltbitter ettersmak

Flaske 0,5l. Spandert av og delt med Rune etter arbeidsøkt i WCveien 13 Mar 13. Ultradyprød. Høyt kremaktig skum som etterlater en pen lacing. Skummet varer en god stund. God røstet maltaroma. Smaken litt tørr. Sjokolade & kaffe. Fin balanse. Et veldig godt butikkøl!

Lett røsta lukt med preg av mørk malt, humle, røsta korn, røsta kaffi, mørk bitter sjokolade, karamell, litt lakris. Lett tørr røsta smak med preg av mørk malt, humle, røsta korn, gras, mørk bitter sjokolade, litt brent kaffi. Middels bitterhet som set litt. God.

God duft av kaffe, sjokolade og røykt. Mørd dyp farge. lite skum. God lang sittende smak av kaffe og sjokolade.

500ml bottle bought at Ølhandleriet Mathall Oslo and shared with Finn back home. Fawn-coloured head that stayed well and left lacing rings down the glass. Jet black coloured body. Rich aroma of dark chocolate malts. Roasted malty taste with the support of herbal hops added by a smoky touch. Malt bitter ending. Quite nice, not overly sweet (Tromsø, 13.03.2013).

50cl bottle from Varnaveien mineralvann. Pours very dark, almost black, with a tan head. Roasty aroma with chocolate, dark fruits, malt and hints of coffee, vanilla and wooden smoke. Medium body. Medium sweet with a lightly dry and spicy finish. Well balanced and enjoyable.

0.5l bottle courtesy of Beer3000 and shared with The Tasting Crew. Thanks Erik! This is a deep dark brown - almost black one with a small quickly sidesticking light brown-ish top. Smells quite nice. Roasted malty with a nice almost lactal sweetness. Clear chocolate here and some light dry cocoa hints. Enjoyable on the nose atleast! It's as good as flat on the carbonation, perhaps some traces of something prickling, and a thin oily mouthfeel. The taste is also nicely roasted with dark chocolate, espresso powder, some coffee and a nice sweetness. Roasty dark and really tasty aftertaste with lingering bitter dark coffee. Really impressive that they have squeezed all this flavor in this lightweighter. 05.01.2012
