Not bad overall. Moderately sweet, simple, rounded dark mats, subtle ash, cocoa, black coffee. Decent balance. Not bad.

Keg at CBJ. Near clear dark brown beer, small tan head. Light palate, a little dry, a good fine minerally carbonation. Thin dark malts, watery roast, trace of chocolate. Watery crisp finish. Inoffensive but bland.

Tap at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. An opaque black coloured pour with a lasting light tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty roast, light vanilla, hazelnut, light char.. Flavour is composed of dry roast, char, dry roasted barley. Palate is dry, dark roast, powdery carbonation.. Good stuff.

Nose is dark malts, dried fruit rinds, cocoa powder, charr.
Taste comprises cocoa powder, fruit cake, mellow roast, charr, brown bread, raisins.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close.
Tidy on point stout.
