Bottle. Almost black. Roast, licorice and a hint of dried fruit in the aroma. Dried fruit, a hint of peat, whisky and oak in the flavor, dominating the licorice. Warming, almost vinous. Nice.

Draught at Arendsnest. Black with a tan head. Aroma of burnt toffee. Flavour is sharp malt, bitter chocolate, they even served it with a bit of dark chocolate on the side to highlight the bitterness. Fruity syrup finish.

Tap @ Kromme Haring, 10 cl sample. Dark brown color, short frothy head. Aroma is boozy, roasted malts. Lots of boozy barrel in taste as well. Unbalanced, too much booze. Blend this stuff please instead of releasing single barrels.
