Draft. Deep amber body. Fizzy, off-white head. Malty aroma of caramel, toasted grain, cookie, earthiness, light grapefruit rind. The flavor moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Thin for a winter warmer. Taste of grain. Was tired of this half-way through the pint.

Sample at Veteran's. Pours a clear, dark brown color, with a small, tan head. Smells of coffee, caramel, oak, and earth. Sweet and malty, with a light, easy bitterness. Medium body, with a grainy mouthfeel. Pretty solid, malty beer.

12 oz. bottle. Amber in color, foamy, soapy head, nice lacing. Malt in aroma, not much else. Tastes of malt, a little bit of hop bitterness. Goes down pretty smoothly, but fairly boring.

Bottle. A- Malts, caramel, bread, grains. A- Dark amber color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Malty, subtle hops, roasty, earthy, pine. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Definitely got more disappointing as it warmed. Not a lot of depth and really malty. Not for me.
