355ml bottle. Amber almost red ale, great head! The nose is intriguing with dried fruit, perhaps raisins and fruit cake dough mixture. The fruit cake is of more cake mixture and the fruit is now clearly sultanas. The palate is medium bodied, there is a fairly creamy texture and a clean finish. Great beer!

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Sweet caramel in the nose with a somewhat perfumy hoppiness. Medium body, sweet caramel, a slight metallic touc and again these perfumy hops that leave some bitterness. Basically a good Amber Ale. 150211

Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Clear dark orange pour with a fading small off white head that left a lingering cuff. Aroma had traces of spices, veg, fruits and sweet malt. Flavour was similar with some hop bitterness that built steadily from a fairly inauspicious start. Slightly thin for the ABV. Largely inoffensive and drinkable, but nothing special.

Bottle that my dad picked up for me in Glasgow. Consumed 02.01.11 Pours amber good clarity, smooth beer, not so rich or flavourful nonetheless a decent beer. A touch of citrus and caramel but aside from this I get little else, still it’s a pleasant sipper. A6 A5 T6 P3 Ov12 3.2
